Every piece of my work features recycled glass. I handmake each piece from start to finish. I begin with sourcing my glass, mostly from wine, beer and spirit bottles. I also salvage jars, plates, vases or anything else that may be cracked, broken or no longer usable for its original purpose. Each bottle is cleaned, cut, broken down and crushed. The glass then goes through one or multiple kiln firings in my home studio.
The result is beautiful, everyday wearable jewelry pieces that are truly unique. Each finished piece takes on new beauty with the addition of different textures to the original glass. Often mistaken for stone or sea glass, each of my pieces have an extraordinary energy and spirit unique to themselves.
